Join a beginner-friendly birding walk and learn how to notice, identify and better understand the birds around you in regional parks. Cast a line at the Hall Road Fishing Pond! Youth ages 15 and under can borrow a rod, learn to fish with staff, and try catching stocked trout. Summer storytime


Join us Tuesday mornings at the EECO in Mission Creek Regional Park for weekly adventures for curious 3 to 5 year olds. These 45-minute sessions bring nature to life with engaging stories, lively songs, creative crafts, and hand-on activities. Weekly. Drop-in.

Summer swallowtails


Watch for the striking yellow and black wings of swallowtail butterflies as they glide through sunny meadows and grasslands. Learn about their life cycle, the plants their caterpillars depend on and how these insects help pollinate the Okanagan landscape. Interpretive | Leisurely | 2 hrs | Walk
