The salmon return: Discovering kikinee event

Celebrate the spectacular annual return of the kokanee salmon to Mission Creek! Drop in to Mission Creek Regional Park on Saturday, September 12 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to stroll through the park, check out the fish in the spawning channel, explore hands-on activities, or register for guided experiences that bring the story of the salmon and the park to life.

September programs

Join us in the parks as fall begins to emerge. The salmon are returning, the air is getting crisp, and the changing season offers plenty of opportunities to get outside and explore. Come explore, get active, and welcome fall in the parks!

Evening adventures

Late summer evenings are made for exploring! Join us in the parks as the day cools down for night hikes and nature exploration. As the sun sets, a different side of the park comes to life. Discover the parks from a whole new perspective this fall.
