Our Core Programs

Programs for all ages that run on a weekly or monthly basis throughout the year, such as Storytime, Roll & Stroll, weekly walks, hike club, evening hikes, art programs and more.

August Programs

Make the most of late summer with wildlife-focused hikes, forest and creek exploration, and a variety of new evening nature programs. We’ll be exploring hidden gems, getting creative with nature-inspired art, and learning more about our neighbours in nature along the way.

Evening adventures

Late summer evenings are made for exploring! Join us in the parks as the day cools down for night hikes and nature exploration. As the sun sets, a different side of the park comes to life. Discover the parks from a whole new perspective this August!

Welcome the Kokanee

Experience one of the Okanagan’s most spectacular natural events as Kokanee salmon return to Deep Creek. Join RDCO Park Interpreters to discover the incredible journey these fish make each year — from their life cycle and spawning behaviours to their important role in the health of our local ecosystem.
